Zuleta Associates Inc., a financial and business services corporation located at 208-498 Eagle St. N in Cambridge, ON, N3H 1C2, specialized in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, financial statements, HST and WSIB returns and offering business and financial consulting service to national and international corporate clients, is looking to hire a Finance Officer with international business and financial experience to help with daily operations and contribute to various international business ventures.

Job responsibilities and duties:
- Maintain books and financial records of client accounts, record transactions, balance accounts
- Prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers
- Perform bank reconciliation
- Prepare financial statements
- Calculate, prepare and manage cheques for payrolls, taxes, other payments
- Prepare tax returns for personal and corporate clients
- Prepare other accounting and financial reports
- Prepare, complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, pension contribution forms, other government documents
- Perform incorporations and business registrations
- Liaise with clients, banks, regulatory bodies and other third parties in connection with clients’ finances and regulatory obligations
- Prepare business plans and feasibility studies for different business ventures
- Prepare letters of explanation for specific client matters
- Assist with coordination and administration of client business ventures
- Provide knowledge transfer to Canadian higher management and colleagues, support colleagues and team in high volume environments

Terms of employment:

- Full time, permanent

Wage and benefits:
We are offering a rate of $23/ hour and in addition, we will cover:
- all traveling expenses required by the position
- cell phone expenses
- extended health care benefits package
- any overtime incurred.

Location of work:
- Hands-on training and some of the work will be performed in our office located in Cambridge, ON.
- Some work will be performed in our clients’ locations. Traveling to our clients’ locations is therefore expected, especially in the province of Ontario. Traveling to other national and international locations, potentially for extended periods of time, is also expected.

Required education and experience:
- College education is required, university degree is preferred- business, economic, financial or accounting background
- 5 or more years of experience in business management required
- 5 or more years of experience in financial management required
- 5 or more years of experience in accounting required
- International relevant experience is highly desired
- International Masters degree in Finance or Accounting is desired
- Ability to communicate in English is required
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Romanian are desired
