Our client in Kitchener requires a Purchasing/Accounts Payable Specialist for approximately 6 months. The duties include: Source all products for clients, create proposals with detailed descriptions and photos, estimate all costs and timelines regarding product, negotiate with vendors for the best price. The position is responsible for all logistics for incoming product, work with overseas brokers and domestic vendors to source the best products and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure product is delivered on time and on budget. Accounts Payable responsibilities include vendor invoice processing, submission of employee expenses and purchasing card reconciliation. General accounting including journal entries, updating fulfillment charts, month end duties as it relates to accounts payable and creating purchase orders for project and non-project related work.
