Job Summary: As a member of the Quality Team, you will act as Quality Engineer for two product lines while ensuring quality throughout the development project and on the production line. Responsibilities: - Ensure, independently, compliance with our processes, standards, and best practices. - Ensure that the design activities having an impact on quality of products or services are properly identified and controlled. - Ensure qualification, assessment, monitoring and improvement of our suppliers in cooperation with the procurement team. - Ensure qualification, assessment, monitoring and improving our manufacturing processes. - Ensure customer satisfaction through customer feedback process (CCRP, PRC, return of material). - Develop control and implement them to our suppliers. - Ensure first-article inspection. - Together with the quality team and in cooperation with the Operations group, measure the poor quality costs, identify opportunities for improvement and make the necessary adjustments to reduce the cost of poor quality. - Ensure the resolution of the requests for corrective actions and product failures. - Conduct audits. - Assess the progress of a project on the technical milestones.
Required Profile: You are known for your leadership skills, your ability to work well with others and to bring the team to adhere to an approach, an idea or a concept. Fully committed to the achievement of your mandates, you are autonomous, had good analytical abilities and written and spoken communication skills. You also demonstrate organizational skills, result-orientation, and rigor. Specific Qualifications: - Bachelor&'s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience - 5 to 8 years of experience in a relevant field - Good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written. - Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards - Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) - Practical knowledge of recognized problem-solving processes: an asset - Available to travel occasionally
