Staff Accountant

Job Description:Job Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. Responsibilities:Preparation of T1 ( Personal Taxes)Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reportsPerform bookkeeping for various clients including payroll processing, GST/HST filing etc.Support assurance related assignment such as audits and reviews, ensuring adherence to standard requirementsCreate new processes to improve financial efficiencyReport analysis and findings to management team ​Qualifications:Previous experience in accounting or other related fieldsPrevious experience of preparing T1, T2 and related schedulesKnowledge of QBO, Sage, Profile software is an advantageOperational experience of MS-OfficeDetail and deadline-orientedStrong analytical and problem solving skills
