The Peterborough Huskies are looking for new players to join our team for fall 2016.
The Peterborough Huskies Special Needs Hockey Team is for males/females ages 5-85+ who may be on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Tourettes Syndrome,FASD, MS, Neurological Issues, Cerebral Palsy, may be Visually or Hearing Impaired, may have a Medical Condition that prevents them from playing on a contact sports team, etc.
Everyone plays regardless of ability. No hockey or skating experience required. We have amazing volunteers to assist the players.

Our main goal is to have fun!
We provide at least two off-ice social opportunities every month year round.
This gives the players a chance to create new friendships and provides a support system for the families.
We either have a game or a practice for one hour, once a week.
We will have both a junior team and an intermediate team.
This fall we also have a Learn To Skate Program.
We offer a free two week trial in October 2016..
Our registration fee for September 2016 to February 2017 season is $250.00 this covers the cost of a team jersey, socks and team t-shirt, as well as helps cover ice time.
Payment plans can be arranged.
We can help players find equipment .
