A group of people, who are already playing cribbage at the Oasis Bar at the Place Concorde Complex on Wednesday nights, would like to begin a new Euchre League/Club to play on Tuesday nights. The Place Concorde Complex is on the corner of Lauzon Parkway and Forest Glade Drive.

We would begin on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. The last game scheduled for the 2017 Winter Season would be on Tuesday April 25, 2017.

The Euchre League/Club would be open to all players nineteen (19) years of age or older, man or woman, beginner or expert. As this league/club plays exclusively at the Oasis Bar, it would be a house league so there is no travelling to other locations to play. We would like to have Regular Members who will play each scheduled night and Substitute Members who cannot commit to playing each scheduled night but may want to play occasionally for Regular Members who cannot make it for a particular night.

The will be a mandatory $5.00 membership fee for each scheduled night for Regular Members and an optional 50/50 draw each night as well. The cost of the 50/50 draw is $5.00 for 5 tickets and is open to all people at the bar for that night. The proceeds of the membership fees and half of the 50/50 draw goes into a fund for maintaining the club's provisions (i.e. cards, scorecards, 50/50 tickets etc.) and a percentage of all funds collected, after provisions, will be paid out at the end of the season to the people with the best record. The division of the payout will be determined by the total number of Regular Members.

If anyone is interested in becoming a member of the league/club, whether as a Regular Member or a Substitute Member, please contact Mike Major at (519) 948-2051 who will place your name on the roster accordingly and can provide further details. Please be prepared to provide your fist and last name, phone number, and if available, your email address.

Please note that the viability of the league/club is dependent upon the number of members who register to play. Anyone who registers will be contacted prior to commencement as to whether the league/club is a go on Tuesday nights.
