1980 Peavey solo series renown 400 combo guitar amplifier. This amp has been restored and wrapped in dark brown/black tweed to match the aged hardware. This really was an amp that has seen some life! Unfortunately the original tolex was in too rough of shape to be saved which is why it was re-wrapped. It sounds beautiful all the channels and knobs are are smooth except the pre on the gain channel has a spot that’s a little dirty. This is an easy replacement however I found it unnecessary. This amp would be great for anyone looking for a loud clean amp to throw pedals infront of or someone in a country/blues band that needs chimey cleans with the ability to get some dirt. This is really not a Metal amp for anyone curious. It can do it but you’ll need to add some pedals infront of it. It comes with the original footwitch and has the ability to run both the clean and lead channels together which is kind of neat. Really cool amp I think it would look great beside a worn out telecaster or strat! Thanks for looking happy shopping!
