This house was once the hotel and tavern for the village of Southampton, and it has a lot of great history and character. I have an antique shop on the main floor; so, it is a shared entrance / shared building. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms - 1 medium and 2 large. Nice bathroom. Kitchenette. You would also have full, but not exclusive, use of the enormous main floor kitchen. You would pay the hydro for the house, as the antique shop is rarely open. There is electric baseboard heat upstairs. There is a fairly new wood furnace in the basement that you can run to your heart's content to reduce your heating cost, if you have access to a supply of wood. Six acres of beautiful riverfront pasture. Parking for one (maybe 2) cars. For anyone who doesn't know, Southampton is 20-25 minutes from Amherst, Springhill, and Parrsboro; so, you definitely need a car. $1,200 per month (or $1,100 if you're willing to give me a few hours a month of help on my adjacent farm), plus hydro.
