Previous owner claims to have been painted in the late 1800's (1890-1899).

The scene is a water landscape of the Ottawa River. The painting surface is tin.

The colors are still vibrant, and the detail of the nature scene is that of a master class painter.

The frame is original wood, Gesso and painted gold.

The dimensions are 24" x 17.5" by 2".

The depth includes the hook rings on the back.
