This is an Original "Lava Lite" Midnight Series, Model 8403 with a build date of March 6 1997 (on the base). This was when the lamps were still made in the U.S. Includes the box that has all of the great artwork, and each model number in the series. The box does show staining at the bottom.
Although the lamp originally contained blue dye, the dye has faded so the colour is now more orange. But the wax still flows and displays great.
Sure, you could get a new cheaply made lamp, but especially for fans of the 1990s here is your chance to own a 25+ year old Lava Lite (with box) and be the envy of your 90s era loving friends!
