Title- “Home beauty on a budget”- the ad shows a mom, dad, and a son painting a wall.

Vintage magazine ads offer a fascinating glimpse of real-life history, an archive of what advertisers thought the world wanted. Ready to frame, matte or laminate, these authentic classic ads can add to the unique decor of your home, business or showroom. Our ads are authentic, and carefully cropped from original publications, not photocopiesor reproductions. See our website at vintageadguy.com .

History- In 1941 Sherwin-Williams introduced Super Kem-Tone, the world's first latex house paint. It was the first commercial wall paint that could be washed. The fast-drying water based paint became an instant hit with do-it-yourselfers. The paint roller was also introduced at the same time. Before Kem-Tone, walls were painted with flat enamel which took several days to dry and had a strong odor.

Condition- This ad is in excellent condition. The ad is sold untrimmed and unmatted.

This item can be picked up in Porters Lake. See the link to my other ads in the upper right corner for more great ads, magazines, and books. I have several other ads that are not yet listed. Let me know if you’re looking for a specific subject or company.
