Antique Clear Glass Molded Scottish Terrier Scotty Candy Holder

This is an adorable antique clear glass molded "Scotty" Scotish terrier candy holder figure. There is a maple leaf decal on one side with Brampton Canada on a gold ribbon under the maple leaf. This molded glass Scotty was originally a glass candy container manufactured and packed by T.H. Stough Company, Jeannette Pa, USA. It was referred to as the T.H. Stough Company No. 22 Scotty and was given as a gift during the holidays over 75 years ago. It was sold with the candy inside the Scotty and sealed with a cardboard bottom closure. The Scotty measures 3 1/4" high and 4" long and has his head turned looking to the left. The Scotty has lovely detailing in the clear glass and the body sparkles and twinkles when light shines on his sturdy erect body, a perfect replica of a sweet Scottish terrier. The Scotty is in excellent condition from a smoke free home, ready to go to a collector or Scotty dog lover.
