Original Canadian Black & White Photograph of Six Visible Hatted Women & One Man with produce including bread in mainly wooden splint baskets, lined up against the brick wall of a building with a Curvilinear Window, & Sliding Wooden Door with padlock, as well as a side profile of a hatted woman standing in front of them mounted on yellow cardboard, c1929-33, Mount: 9.3” x 7.3”; Photograph: 7.4” x 5.45”, in very good condition. Part of the photograph is blocked off in graphite, possibly for some newspaper use. On the front bottom border of the mount is marked in graphite, 'Cost/Cast (?) - 1919/20 (?). The back has a white label attached marked, 'James & Son, 440 Manning Ave., Toronto.
