Two beautiful antique mustache cups for sale separately or together.
The first one is marked "NORITAKE" and the backstamp indicates it dates back to the 1920's or 1930's. I can't make out the markings at the base of the backstamp but I belive it reads "Made in Japan". The cup is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the floral pattern on the front of the cup and to the gold trim on the rim. A nice old piece.
The only markings on the second cup are the numbers "124" on the bottom. The cup is porcelain with a beautiful and detailed raised floral design on the front. Based on that, plus a lot of research I am positive the cup is German made in the 19th century. It is in excellent condition free of chips and cracks. The only signs of wear are to the gold trim on the rim and on the bottom of the cup. This wear in no way detracts from the cup's appearance . It is a wonderful old cup that has survived for over 100 years. Makes a great display piece.
