‘The Hermitage’ is a historical plantation and museum located in Davidson County, Tennessee – it was owned by Andrew Jackson, the seventh President of the United States, from 1804 until his death at the Hermitage in 1845.

A 4½-Cent stamp featuring a view of The Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson (1767-1845) was issued as part of the Liberty Series.

Here is an addressed envelope in excellent condition with a single “Hermitage” 4½ stamp and a Denver, CO post mark on First Day of Issue. It is offered for sale at only $2.
