This classic, beautifully hand-painted, vase was created by the masters of the Fukagawa Seiji Studio in Arita, Japan!
Exquisitely made with the most delicate, thin porcelain, this flawless and timeless piece stands 10.5 inches tall, with the width measuring 4.5 inches across at the widest point.
Note the vivid and striking use of gold-embellished grape leaves that hang down over an indistinct pond, as symbolized by ribbons of contrasting white and gray.
The deep and dramatic cobalt blue, when decorated with gilded veins, then used in conjunction with the pastel blue, was so perfected in its presentation, that collectors refer to this as "Fukagawa Blue."
