The 1990-91 Bowman set contains 264 standard-size cards. The 22-card standard size set of Hat Tricks was issued as an insert in the 1990-91 Bowman hockey wax packs. This set honored the 14 players (1-14) who scored three or more goals (a hat trick) in a game at least twice during the 1989-90 regular season and the eight players (15-22) who performed the feat during the 1990 NHL playoffs. The fronts of the cards have a glossy sheen to them while the backs talk about the hat tricks of the players. There are two Mike Gartner cards as he had hat tricks for two different teams.
