Crashing waves on a November beach on the Canadian East Coast is a familiar sight for those who live and work these waters. It's a sight that's as common as trees turning scarlet in the fall or coming up buds in the Spring elsewhere, further inland.

The ocean changes with each season as well and November is a stirring tribute to the beginnings of winter. These bare rocks on the rugged Atlantic coast are among the oldest of the Earth's crust and are being battered by relentless ocean activity.

High winds sweeping over a large surface of ocean can build up very large waves, as we can see in this painting.

Vintage frame has very minor wear and the painting is in good condition, ready to hang.
