We are a small family owned and operated Asian restaurant in Clayton Park in need of 2 full-time line cooks. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a kitchen environment, preferably an asian restaurant. Ability to multitask is a must. Job duties are as follows and not limited to:
● Assist the Head Chef in preparing and serving food items
● Prepare all food items in a timely and hygienic manner
● Follow recipes and food presentation specifications as set by management
● Stored food items and maintained the highest levels of sanitation and cleanliness
● Replenished raw food, garnishes, and other ingredients to serving lines
● Assist in serving lines and prepare simple foods
● Restock all items throughout shift to ensure cooks has the necessary ingredients
● Assist line cooks with basic food preparations
● Operate fryer, wok, grill and other kitchen appliances
● Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of stock when required.
