Role: As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing the floor according to our policies, procedures and as it relates to CBH’s goals and expectations in providing our guests with a unique experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Various ordering duties which include but are not limited to:
  • Some kegs following par levels and forecast for events and features
  • Various office and POS supplies as required
  • Ensuring orders placed with our vendors were to par levels and ensuring enough product has been ordered
  • Ordering of promo tickets, wristbands, etc. as necessary
  • Monitoring par levels for specific beverages and ensuring product is stored immediately upon arrival
  • Ordering drink syrups following par levels and communicating with Kitchen Manager when more is required for order
  • Meeting with industry staff in the market and facilitating promo event, monitoring promo budget and submitting expenses
  • Recording Manager Meeting minutes
  • Ensuring external signage is up to date with the current promotions
  • Ensuring ticker is updated weekly, in good order and pertinent information is updated in a timely fashion
  • Focus on crew leadership and morale and ensuring additional duties such as bar journal and side duties and being completed as required
  • All other duties as required by the Assistant General Manager and General Manager

Qualifications and competencies:

  • Enthusiastic, outgoing and positive attitude
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work as a team and with minimal supervision
  • Willing to take initiative
  • Maintaining a clean work environment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Responsible liquor training certification required (ProServe in AB, SIRS in SK, Serving it Right in BC)
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly driven with an excellent work ethic
  • Communication skills: Read, write and speak English
  • Management experience an asset
