Summary of Responsibilities:
 Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotel
 Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems
 Make and confirm reservations in person or over the phone
 Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers
 Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
 Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests
 Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary
 Review accounts and charges with guests during the check out process
 Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning
 Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment
 Clean and maintain lobby and common areas, such as restocking supplies and salting front area
 Arrange tours, taxis, or restaurant reservations for customers
 Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
 Ensure guest satisfaction levels and standards of quality of service in addition to actively developing and implementing new systems and standards
 Handle of guests comments and complaints, ensuring guests needs are met or exceeded,
 Ensure efficient training and development of personnel by means of detailed systems and procedures in the Front Office (training manuals, fact sheets, internal coding systems, etc.)
 Participate in guest relations and directs arrangements for special needs reservations
 Give effective support to staff for the work, which has to be done and assists in all matters pertaining to the Front Office
 Coordinate and communicate of information pertinent to all other staff to ensure the highest level of guest service
 Knowledge in emergency procedures, general crisis situation procedures and keeping health and safety in the forefront
 Ensure that all controls are in place and are adhered to, ie. rates, market codes, etc.
 Responsible for groups reservations as well as all pre-arrival including blocking of rooms, and special requirements and departure activities
 Ensure hotel policies and procedures are known, followed and enforced, promote the philosophy of empowerment within guidelines
 Make up cribs and rollaway beds as required
 All other duties assigned

Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED; 1 years experience in the sales and marketing, front desk or guest services at any hotel. Must speak, read, Write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
Computer Skills: Familiar with any hotel system, Excel and Word
Interpersonal Skills:
 Time and Attendance, Dynamic, enthusiastic, creative leader who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions at the same time
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
 Exceptional teamwork and customer service skills
 A leader who will lead, teach, inspire our team to reach the high level of service
 Requires fingering, grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 15 / 35 pound
