This wonderful K 2 expedition Feathercraft is a joy to paddle and those that have never paddled a "skin" boat will be blown away by the smoothness and sensuousness with which it moves quietly through the water big or small. There is no "slap" or lurching as the boat seems to accept any oncoming waves. It is surprisingly fast and comfortable for 19+ feet; it packs many 100's of pounds of gear. Weighing only 87 pounds assembled, it transports in two bags (3 bags now that we are in our late 60's/70's)

The Feathercraft website showing the most recent model is:
A U-tube assembly video is worth a look:

Feathercraft located on Granville island still makes replacement and spare parts.

Our boat has seen the Coasts of Croatia down to Dubrovnic, Cephalonia and Ithaca in Greece, Icy straits in the gulf of Alaska, West Coast Vancouver Island and most recently this July, Haida Gwaii.
It comes with: Expedition repair kit, 3 part Aluminum Mast, Tri-sail, 2 Sea socks in excellent condition and 2 spray skirts in equally great shape. The skin is showing no signs of UV damage and all metal endo-skeleton parts and Bulkheads are in excellent condition. All Boeing Aluminum joints are lovingly anointed with Bo-Shields protective lubricant after every Trip.

Reasons for selling: We live inland now and it remains stored most of the time, and big multi-week trips appear further and farther between (something to do with ageing).
It has been such a wonderful companion and we hate to sell, but it has many wonderful trips left in it for those with imagination and a longing for distant places. (Many of the pictures just show the first part of the mast in place as it is easily rigged with the top two pieces added easily, should a favourable wind allow a "Reach or Run"..and that too is great fun!)

We are also selling our "like new" Standard Horizon HX460S Mini submersible hand held Marine VHF Radio which accesses over 88 channels world wide ($325 OBO) and fits in your life jacket pocket! 1/3/5 watts

1) Feathercraft K2 asking $3500 OBO
2) Standard Horizon Submersible VHS $325 OBO
