This is a much customized subwoofer system that will fit the Jeep YJ model from 1992 to 1995.
The boxes are made from 3/4" MDF for the 12" subwoofer enclosure and 1/2" for the 8" enclosures. This is a full range "Q" system that can hit from the low 20Hz to a range of 400Hz via the 8" mid bass drivers. The enclosures are fiber filled, sealed and wrapped in high quality green carpet.
I am a professional car customizer (and an engineer) so I promise these are the most well build enclosures that fit like a glove. As seen in the pictures, they fasten together utilizing custom 1" thick solid aluminum plates which screw the side boxes from the inside. THESE CANNOT BE STOLEN unless ripped apart with a chainsaw and pry bar. This is a perfect system if you normally drive with the top down. The 12" enclosure is a perfect fit and angle from the back seat to the tailgate that you cannot remove unless the tailgate is open.
Now the sound is ridiculous... I was hitting well above 138Db with a 300 watt amp and this was never set up to be a SPL system. The system also comes with an amp rack which sits under the rear seat. I also include 2 custom extended rear seat brackets which lift the rear seat for more clearance for the amps.
This system won countless car shows back in the day when I was competing and you can't beat the price. So much work went into the fitment and fabrication, I hate to see it go but my Jeep is long gone.
NO LOWBALLERS – to get a system like this custom made, you will easily be double or triple this price.
NOTE: The subwoofers and amplifiers are NOT INCLUDED but can be purchased at additional cost.
What is included:
1x 12" subwoofer enclosure for back (no subs included)
2x 8" side enclosures including Kicker woofers
If I can find the amp rack, it will be included. This is only a covered piece of 1/2" MDF that adds very little value to the system.
The subwoofers and amps are availble at additional cost but the 8" woofers that are included in this offer are worth the $300 alone.
I have had many offers to break up the system which I would rather not do. I have also many lowballers. Here is the situations people..... if you wanted to make a system like this, you are going to be well into $200 for materials plus the 8" subwoofers, plus the reverse engineering, plus the woodworking, fitting and Upholstering. This being said, $300 is my firm price on this.
