Why buy your next trailer from Via Trailers? Via Trailers has been supplying enclosed trailers since 1987. We have the most experienced sales staff and the best mechanics in the business. We have helped thousands of customers purchase trailers for hundreds of different uses.
Our shop is MTO certified so you will not leave Via Trailers illegally with a tandem axle trailer and subject to fines by MTO or Police - Many dealers simply ignore this because they are not an MTO licensed facility. We install hitches, wiring and can tackle any job including complete frame rebuilds.
All our trailers have an integrated A-frame rather than an underneath mount tongue. It takes longer and costs manufacturers more to produce trailers with an integrated A-frame rather than simply tacking the tongue underneath the frame. Non integrated A-frames are much more likely to break. It is a cheaper and much less safe design. All Continental Cargo trailers come with recessed side and rear doors which forms a much better seal than trim that seals on the outside of the trailer.
Every trailer at Via Trailers comes standard with a one piece rear header. The rear header is the piece above the ramp door or double rear doors. The framing around the rear of the trailer is the most vulnerable to breaking because of the size of the opening.
All trailers at Via Trailers have a 1 piece rear header and 2"x6" rear corner posts with gussets in the top corners to provide maximum strength. Many companies use angle iron above the rear door or a small tube and then hide it with a piece of trim.
All aluminum trailers at Via Trailers are constructed only with heavy walled aluminum tubing. Aluminum is not as strong as steel so an aluminum trailer requires more material to provide the same amount of strength as a steel framed trailer. Beware of aluminum trailers that are too light. A properly built aluminum frame trailer should be 70-80% of the weight of a steel frame trailer. If it is not it is probably not strong enough to hold up with regular use.
Every trailer looks good on the internet. The lowest price is not necessarily the best deal and quite often becomes the biggest headache. Via Trailers does not switch manufacturers every year and sell the absolute cheapest trailer on the market regardless of quality and warranty. We do sell high quality, reasonably priced trailers that provide good warranty. Look before you buy! Look under the trailer, push on the walls, see what style of frame and rear header it has. Ask if the dealer is MTO certified. Some trailer companies offer more options for less money by not building their trailers strong enough. Via trailers will match price on any similar design, current model year trailer. Bring your best deal to Via Trailers on paper and we will match or beat anyone's price
