Description
I feel the time has come to offer this MINT 2004 SUBARU WRX STi to a new owner/home. This STi was purchased from SUBARU in Halifax/Dartmouth in April 2006 with one previous owner. It's seems obvious that the original owner had the vehicle professionally upgraded to approximate the "SUBARU WR1" from the UK. There were supposedly $11, 000.00 in mods/upgrades including Defi gauge pod where the oem clock was located, Invidia stainless steel 3" turbo-back exhast that sounds fantastic!! There are oem BBS forged alloys in black finish & Prodrive PFF7's in Flitter with Michelin Pilot tires. This vehicle is ALWAYS garaged, NEVER seen winter, has been rustproofed several times to preserve it's rust-free condition. I'm retired (2016) & have too many vehicles I'm not using. If I can find a quality buyer willing to pay what this specific car is worth I am prepared to have someone new enjoy it like it deserves. Similar vehicles on Bring a trailer have sold for 18.5K to over $60K US Funds. PLEASE DO NOT contact me if you aren't a serious buyer for this STi. Thank in advance.
The previous/1st owner appears to have wanted his STi to mirror the SUBARU WR1 model from the UK, which to me seems obvious with the Prodrive wheels (18" with 225/40R-18Y-rated Michelin Pilot tires. Our roads get mangled from winter, so my preference was to use the oem BBS forged alloys in Black finish for a more compliant ride. The Cobb Stage 2 OTS Map is likely a lil' spicier than the WR1 oem tune.
The car had around 54K (kms) or 33.5k miles when purchased & I've driven less than 70K (kms) or 42K miles in 18 years of ownership to date.
Professional upgrades by former SUBARU master tech Jeff Rose translate to a solid endorsement to local SUBARU folks. And I'm not suggesting that this specific car is worth anywhere near the upper echelon of countless STi(s) on Bring-A-Trailer; however, this car is an excellent babied 2004 SUBARU Impreza WRX STi fashioned into a quasi WR1 USDM model - IMO. Thanks for visiting this STi ad.
