As Is - 1984 Mercedez Benz 300CD Silver Coupe

A project car, needs work. Selling as is.

Engine still humming, but has issues that need resolving. Here is a complete list:

NEEDS FIXING: - Oil leaked from the gauge in the instrument cluster and saturated the harnesses. Something is now wrong with the ignition switch and wiring connected to it. My mechanic has set up a hotwire to bypass the starter and get it running, but this will need to be fixed. - Rear windows and sunroof need fixing. - Some body work needed. A few small rust bubbles and a scrape on the right rear wheel well. - AC doesn't work, likely just needs a recharge.

WORKS WELL: - Aside from the recent issue with the starter, the car still runs perfectly. I had 5 great years with it. The turbo engine is a monster and always reliable. These German engines famously reach a million miles when treated right. It has been regularly maintained with the help of a classic German specialist mechanic. - Automatic windows. Heated front seats. Spacious, comfortable cabin. Comes with the euro style head lights which many prefer to the US style. I've installed the Contintenal VDO Bluetooth head unit. There is a subwoofer that I never wired that I will include. - Always stylish, stands out amongst the monotonous cars of today. Gets head nods, thumbs ups, and conversations everywhere it goes. I have loved owning this car and the experience that came with it. If you can fix the issues, she'll give you many more good years.
