Description

- I bought it at 77,000 km 10 years ago, it now has 281,000. - 5.0 Liter V8 - 3.73 rear end - 6.5' box has a spray in liner and a hard folding tonneau cover - Extremely roomy supercrew cab with leather seats, Bluetooth, satellite radio, sunroof and sliding rear window. Although it has a lot of miles, this truck has lived an extremely easy life. 95% of the mileage is from cruising along at 110-120 back and forth to Fort McMurray for work, where it sat in the parking lot at camp for the duration of my shift. It's never been mudding, and has only pulled a 2 place, open, aluminum sled trailer to the mountains 5 or 6 times. The motor runs strong, transmission shifts smooth, and it's never left me stranded. The only issues I've had in the past 200k is the carrier bearing on the driveshaft, and the rear end, both were replaced less than 50k ago. Our wonderful Alberta brine/salted roads have begun to make their mark on the typical quality Ford paint. The body has began to rust, most noticeably on the bumpers, front fenders (from whoever put the mud flaps on) and the cab corners. Structurally though, this truck is sound. Frame and undercarriage is in excellent condition. No squeeks, shakes or rattles, and it drives perfectly straight. The 5.0 runs smooth and is hard to beat for reliability. It's been well taken care of and is bone stock. Belts/tensioner/pulleys were changed at 232k. All oil changes have been with Amsoil synthetic. The interior is in excellent condition. Truck is loaded with most options other than navigation. Very clean. Cons to this truck : the body rust doesn't look great, the top of the tailgate trim is missing from when I unloaded my sled and the skegs grabbed a hold of it in the cold weather, and the back up camera hasn't been working but the PDC sensors work fine. I've really been on the fence with the decision to sell it, as it's been nothing but great for me and I hope I don't regret it. I'd keep it if I had room, but it's time to let it go and get into something new before our lovely government makes it damn near impossible. Asking $11000. No trades or PayPal. Southwest Edmonton. Best to contact me through the app or email. Will add a couple more pictures soon.
