Description
I am buying a house and therefore must say goodbye to my prized possession. I have had this car for a few years and have been continuously working to improve it. It runs and drives great, pretty much everything works on it, will pass safety. Everything is stock and it hasn't been abused. Originally a US car, so it is good as far as rust goes. Just the usual spots as you can see in the photos (trunk). The paint has some chips, cracks, and stretches here and there but it looks good from far (but far from good).
Pros: New soft tor (opens and closes automatically) Newer brakes all around New water pump Ugrated aluminum thermostat housing and new thermostat New coolant hoses and expansion tank (These cars are notorious for overheating, so all preemptive actions have been done, the car does not and never has overheated. Took it on 4-hour road trips). New crank sensor from BMW dealer New spark plugs New fuel filter New serpentine belt New battery Fresh engine filter, upgraded (still have the original filter box) Regular oil changes Working power mirrors and seats 17 inch rims form an e46, good tires (winters) The car has been garage-stored and never winter driven Six-cylinder 2.8 L in-line engine coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. Ultimate fun driving machine. Adjustable ride height in coil overs in the front No engine light on
Con: Cruise control does not work (never looked into it) No A/C (All parts are there, but does not work) The front suspension has cheap coilovers and the rear has original springs and shocks. So you don't get the best ride. If you throw a $1,000 coilover kit in it, it will transform the car.
This is all that comes to mind right now, but feel free to reach out if you have any other questions
It is hard to gage what these are worth right now as it really depends on the condition, so the price listed is what I would like to get, but I am willing to negotiate. I will not, however, negotiate or respond to lowball offers if you haven't even seen the car.
