Description
2013 Nissan Leaf SV in pearl white and light grey interior trim.
Uses around 20 kWh to travel 100 km (city/hwy mix), which costs $1.74 if charging during off peak (8.7 cents/kWh).
Nice car - incredibly reliable. Recent work done on car for wear and tear items. The drivetrain has been rock solid. Just replaced tie rods and 12V auxiliary battery. New brakes in past year - brakes should be good now for the rest of its life. Windshield is cracked. Separate set of winter tires (Bridgestone Blizzak) with alloy rims is available.
This is a very reliable car. Very low cost to own with electricity price about 1/4 of equivalent for a gas car. Has a heat pump so is more efficient for cabin heating in winter compared to many other electric cars. Has heated front and rear seats and heated steering wheel (see photos).
This is a city car with driving range that varies based on how fast you drive but if you are doing city driving in the summer you should get over 100 km easily. Just plug it in when you get home and it's ready for the next day - don't waste time and money at gas stations! It would be a great second car for commuting.
Comes with 120V wall charger but there is a 240V wall charger also for sale if interested.
