Re-introducing two of our handsome fellas: Smokey and Ash! Our bonded pair of foster brothers is all set to find their furever family and we need YOUR matchmaking skills to help make it happen.

You see, these beautiful boys have been patiently waiting for their turn to be noticed. Poor Smokey was actually adopted briefly, but sadly returned to KLAWS’ care through no fault of his own. His adopter ran a home-based business and an employee was allergic to cats.

One of our dedicated foster mamas warmly welcomed Smokey back into her home which is where he was re-united with his pal, Ash. These two quickly became fast friends and are now inseparable cuddle buddies!

Both Smokey and Ash interact very well with their feline foster siblings. Ash is particularly gentle with the younger kitties in his foster home. Both boys are also happy to share their home with canine friends. Their calm, relaxed natures make them a perfect fit for just about any home!

As many of our kitties do, our Smokey had a rough beginning. He was abandoned and found on a construction site with a mama cat and several kittens, two of whom did not survive. Our boy, Ash, is the last of his litter to be adopted and has been waiting almost one full year to be adopted.

Smokey, born July 5, 2016, and Ash, born April 19, 2016, have been neutered and micro-chipped and are up to date with their vaccinations. Their Adoption Fee is $170.

If you'd like to open your home and your heart to this pair of special kitties, please send an email to and request an Adoption Application!

As always, please care and share to help these beautiful boys find their purrfect family!

Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

While pet sellers can be reputable individuals or breeders who treat their animals well, the ease of selling pets over the Internet also makes it attractive to careless, irresponsible breeders and scammers. To protect yourself, you must be careful and believe only what you see and not what you are told. It is highly recommended to arrange for an inspection of the home where the pets are bred. This allows you to check that the mother and other animals are living in suitable conditions, being well cared for, and are in good health.

Remember that the Kijiji Pets section is NOT intended to facilitate uncontrolled breeding, irresponsible commercial pet trading, trade of dogs or any other animal for the purpose of fighting or stud services. Any ads that are suspected of promoting this kind of activity or reported to us will be removed. Users are responsible for adhering to the applicable conditions in relation to adopting, buying, selling or listing of an ad on Kijiji.

Kijiji encourages, where possible, the adoption of pets and encourages all pet owners to have their animals spayed or neutered as well as microchipped.

When looking for a pet, it is important to meet the breeder or seller and examine the pet before agreeing to anything. Since Kijiji is local to your community, this should be easy to arrange. Never adopt/buy a pet from someone who is unwilling to let you see how and where the animal is living!
