    Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

    While pet sellers can be reputable individuals or breeders who treat their animals well, the ease of selling pets over the Internet also makes it attractive to careless, irresponsible breeders and scammers. To protect yourself, you must be careful and believe only what you see and not what you are told. It is highly recommended to arrange for an inspection of the home where the pets are bred. This allows you to check that the mother and other animals are living in suitable conditions, being well cared for, and are in good health.

    Remember that the Kijiji Pets section is NOT intended to facilitate uncontrolled breeding, irresponsible commercial pet trading, trade of dogs or any other animal for the purpose of fighting or stud services. Any ads that are suspected of promoting this kind of activity or reported to us will be removed.     All kittens are now reserved. Beautiful, purebred, hypoallergenic Siberian kittens looking for their forever homes! These little ones were born on February 22, 2024. Both parents (last 2 pictures) are purebred TICA registered Siberian Forest cats. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to put a hold on a kitten. The deposit will then go toward the final price which is due before the kitten goes home. They will be able to go home after their 12 weeks shots, the middle of May 2024. All kittens will be registered with TICA. Kittens are sold at pet quality and come with a non-breeding contract. Owner will receive TICA registration after they provide proof of spay/neuter. (Spay/Neuter can be done at an additional fee. If interested, please contact me.) They will have a heath check as well as dewormer, microchip, and their first two set of shots from a licensed vet. They will go home with a kitten package containing food and toys. Siberian cats are a hypoallergenic breed. Meaning they produce less of the allergy-inducing proteins than other cats. This does NOT mean NON-allergenic. Everyone reacts to cats differently. Having allergies in our own home, we have had great success with little to no reaction. Silverwood Siberians is a small, home based, TICA registered cattery located in Fort Saskatchewan. We have been operating since 2017. Our cats and kittens live in the home and are played with and loved on everyday. Our main goal is to raise friendly, well socialized kittens who will become a loving member of your family!
