Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is looking to revitalize the A-series. In this series, the firm has released a new smartphone named the Xiaomi Redmi A2 Plus. The company's newest smartphone has budget-friendly features and specs. The rear panel offers a plastic finish and houses two large camera modules with LED flash. On the front, you get a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera. The device features a 6.52-inch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and offers IPS LCD panel. You also get 269ppi pixel density. The phone also comes with a face unlock capability.
Performance, Camera, and UI
The latest Xiaomi Redmi A2 Plus is powered by a reliable MediaTek Helio G36 chipset. The octa-core processor offers Cortex A53 cores clocked up to 2.2GHz. For graphics, the chipset comes loaded with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The Xiaomi Redmi A2 Plus packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The memory is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The Redmi device features an 8MP wide-angle-lens with f/2.0 aperture with LED flash. On the front, the company has added a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The Xiaomi Redmi A2 Plus runs on the Android 12 (Go Edition) operating system.
