Antique chair - classic Morris recliner in great condition.
Rare find.
Solid wood with wide comfortable arm rests, beautiful turned spindles and carved feet.
Moveable brass rod and 4 sets of brass support brackets at the back of the chair allow for adjusting the recline angle to 4 different settings.
Original metal wire seat support system is intact.
One of the side spindles was cracked by the mover, but we still have it and it can be repaired and replaced.
The dimensions are:
29 3/4” across at the widest point of the armrests
37” deep from front to back support rails in the upright position
36” tall to top of the back support rail section
Comes with a faux leather back cushion.
Cushion is 22” wide x 31” tall x 4” deep.
Great for relaxing / reading to a little one, enjoying some quiet quality time, napping, etc..
This chair is an extremely functional and comfortable classic chair in great shape for a great price.
