Description

Ready for Spring time cruising. Edmonton area. $24500 OBO

1964 Buick Lesabre Convertible 84000 miles, original miles to best of my knowledge.

300 engine(4.9 V-8) auto trans, optional 4 barrel carb (Delco Rochester) Wildcat 355 setup, not Wildcat trim level. Power windows. Original Radio. AM Sonomatic.

I am 3rd owner. I purchased in 2021 in Lower mainland from 2nd owner who had for a year or so. Originally purchased off the lot in Vancouver May, 1965.

My understanding from previous owner that original owner kept vehicle in Victoria, BC.

Appraisal completed in July 2020, vehicle had 81997 miles at that time. Vehicle appraised at $31k in July 2020. I can provide appraisal notes and notes when engine pulled in 2005 for cylinder head repair/replacement.

In the time that I have had it I had heater core replaced, now blows warm, no factory a/c installed. Had all cables in heater/defeost replaced with replacement cables from Old Air Products, Texas. Had new steering box installed, drive shaft assembly service and replacement, located an extra 5 original steel wheels from 65’ lesabre with Apprx 40’000 miles on them, had shop go through and pick best 5 out of ten and had those sandblasted and powder coated and mounted 5 x Coker classic 1” WW. The other 5 are serviceable and have 3/4” continental WW tires on for spares. Apprx 200km on Coker’s? Extra hub caps as well.

Other maintenance records as well. High zinc oil changes at least twice a year. Stored in a heated garage.

No rust issues.

Not a show car. Car was repainted original colour at some point, lots of small paint chips visible up close, I have tried to stay on top of them with colour correct paint pen.

Interior is original. No Rips or tears. No cracks in dash. Shows well for 60 year old car.

Glass is good.

Convertible top is good, vinyl convertible skirt and snaps are good.

We moved from the lower mainland to Edmonton Sept 2023. Transported in enclosed trailer. Passed out of Province inspection at that time with no issues. Had been registered as a collector in BC.

Bruno the Buick is awesome and I hate to see him go. I tried my best to be a good steward to this mostly original survivor, spent what I needed to and didn’t cheap out on anything. Hopefully someone else will appreciate and take care of him going forward.

Bruno is located in Edmonton. Pics are from last year when we were in BC still. Mileage shot taken March 2024.

Asking $24500. Put between $8-$10k into in last couple of years. My loss, your gain, etc.

Very cool ride.

Send me a message and we’ll set up a time to view. Thanks.
