VW Beetle Porsche electronic adjustable ignition box

This adjustable ignition timing system offers instant real-time control of ignition timing at your fingertips. Can be used as a performance mod or as a diagnostic tool or as a way to discourage detonation (ping) when engine/weather/fuel conditions change. Can also be used in boosted cars to control ping by dialing optimum timing. Works with all 4-cyl cars with a distributor ignition systems. Tested and is fully functional. Retailed forUSD399. (1) ▶ Built-in adjustable rev limiter.

(2) ▶ Base timing fully adjustable (up to 15 degrees) from driver seat. Driver can advance or retard ignition timing on the fly

(3) ▶ Additional 15 degrees of retard can be given to ignition timing during a "triggered" event, such as, when a) full-throttle switch closes, b) Manifold boost or vacuum pressure switch closes c) Knock sensor trigger switch or d) cylinder head temp sensor closes f) coolant temp sensor switch closes . You have to bring your trigger signal.

(4) ▶ If desired, device can convert older point ignition system to point-less system (magnetic trigger) and save you ongoing maintenance costs and money. Device has its own ignition module and can drive OEM or aftermarket high-output ignition coils directly without using car’s own ignition module.

(5) ▶ Device does not modify timing curve, it only retards/advances base timing.

(6) ▶ Sturdy Aluminum body and mounting bracket are Included.

Very easy to install: Red(switched 12+) Black(Ground 0V), Yellow(ignition Coil drive), Brown (retard event switch), Green (Tack and sense Signal) . Left knob handles default static base timing. Middle knob adjusts event- triggered-retard. Right knob is Rev Limiter. Green LED illuminates when device is powered; Yellow LED illuminates during retard event.
