No, they didn’t all catch on fire. So this is your chance to get your hands on this piece of 1986 Fiero gold.
I’m the third owner and have owned it for 20years. Driven 100K, including a trip to Indianapolis for the 30th Anniversary show 10 yrs ago.
A bunch of work has been done, but original 2.8Lv6 w/4spd muncie drivetrain, short shifter and upgraded (Rodney)clutch cylinders. S10 brake booster upgrade, never got to do rotor/caliper upgrade. Lowered suspension with staggered tires on Celica rims. In progress of swapping the factory brown on brown interior to the factory 86 grey. Have more pieces in storage to replace. Added power accessories, was manual model. No A/C, but bypassed the heater core.
Last appraisal was done in 2012 for 6500, current insured value is 10K under Hagerty Classic. Have spare parts including a ‘99 4.6L N* swap in progress.
