Reluctantly up for sale.....truck was owned for many years by a close friend, now I've had it for a couple years but find I never drive it and it's a shame to see it sit. I stripped the entire truck to bare metal about 10 years ago and repainted it complete. Also rebuilt the engine, transmission and transfer case, they have approx 30000 km on them since. Not winter driven since repaint and undercoated, very solid truck. Sadly, some jackass decided he'd try to steal it out of my driveway and pried the door handle out to break in, only to find it has an immobilizer on it and couldn't steal it anyways. I have a new handle, also a new GM tailgate as the one on the truck is dented, figured I'd paint the driver door and gate at the same time, at least it's black so it'll match fairly well. Truck has a 350 TBI, 700R4 with shift kit. Grey interior in pretty decent shape, but does need a headliner, the old one was in pretty tough shape and I haven't found a new one yet. I've added a back rack and new wheels and tires, just put new front brake rotors, pads, and calipers on it this summer. I also have a new push bar for the front of it with LED lights. You can buy the truck the way it is and do the door and gate yourself, or I can have it repaired as long as I get a deposit first, otherwise I'm not spending the money until spring. Easily passed it's last etest, and runs great. Truck was appraised at $12800 when first completed, latest one was for $10800 last year, before I put the wheels and tires on it. Feel free to make an offer, but be reasonable, I'm not hurting for cash and don't have to sell it. Just liquidating vehicles, teenager in the house and can't justify insuring them all, but would consider trades for a nice summer driver, Camaro, Chevelle, T/A....?. If all you have to offer is your opinion, please move on, you're wasting your time. Email replies without a phone number will be ignored.
