Job Description
This supervisory position requires the successful candidate to supervise, organize and plan all related activities of the workers, under his/her care, working in shotcrete shoring and operating heavy equipment, as well as coordination of labour and materials utilized on site.
He/she would be initially focused on adding into the company’s foundation specialty products and services that include Jet Grouting, diaphragm walls, high capacity anchors and shotcrete shoring.
He/she will ensure to carry out safe work practices, improved reliability and on project-by-project basis, maintaining both training in key men and project specific costs reductions.
He/she will be reporting to the Operations Team.
He/she will specify the deliverables expected from the project and its completion date and follow-up to ensure schedule is followed and quality standard maintained.
He/she must have the ability to understand the need of Project Manager and Project Engineers to communicate effectively on variances in work related to drawings and contract scope.

Pay: $36-39/hour commensurate on experience.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
He/she must have experience in foundation specialty products that include Jet Grouting, diaphragm, walls, high capacity anchors and shotcrete shoring.
Experience of 15 years plus in the heavy construction industry specializing in shotcrete shoring.
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry, specializing in shotcrete shoring, utilizing heavy equipment.
A good’s drivers’ licence and ability to handle construction tools and equipment is equally very important for this position.
Good planning, leadership, and problem solving skills are also important to succeed in this role.
