Our client is one of the most exciting and dynamic global companies in the food industry today. Due to rapid growth they have joined with Randstad to assist in recruiting for a JR. SUPPLY CHAIN to join their on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for scheduling all incoming ingredients according to production requirements. Releases raw materials and packaging from contracted suppliers. You will forecast all activities related to production and customer deliveries as per the specifications.

Essential Functions:
•Manage, use and maintain MRP.
•Manage inventory levels and safety stocks.
•Release and follow up on raw materials and packaging purchase orders to suppliers.
•Resolve all supplier issues.
•Initiates all required purchase orders for production.
•Purchases materials/items as required and releases other incoming materials.
•Co-ordinates required materials/ items to allow production schedule to be met.
•Communicate with production regarding any relevant changes.
•Establish, coordinate and organize short-term needs for the production lines.
•Manage and schedule rework, and projects for production.

Job Qualifications:
College Diploma/Associates Degree or equivalent of 3+ years’ experience of relevant manufacturing experience. Strong computer skills – including SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows. Must be aware of manufacturing methods, process improvements and procedures. Proven math skills.
