McCloskey International leads the screening and crushing industry with a complete line of equipment including: cone, jaw and impact crushers, vibrating screeners, trommels and stacking conveyors. Our line is used in a wide range of industries which include aggregates, landscaping, infrastructure and road building, construction and demolition, mining, waste management and recycling.

McCloskey International is seeking a CNC machinist for its afternoon shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Machining of large parts
• Required to perform set up and machining operations
• Responsible for researching and testing new programs and set ups
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Verify dimensions of machined features for accuracy and conformance to specifications using various measuring instruments
• Responsible for maintaining product quality during machining cycle
• General shop cleaning duties and routine equipment maintenance
• May program new, edit existing or research and implement new programs for CNC machine tools
• Overhead crane used for most set-ups

• Experience in the metal working industry
• Experience with CNC machining centers and vertical lathe is required
• Experience with 5-axis CNC machining centers is required
• Conventional machining experience an asset
• Must be able to read and edit standard machine code
• Must be able to use basic measuring instruments; such as calipers, micrometers and bore gauges
• Good written and spoken communication skills required
