Due to an unforeseen family emergency, we find ourselves in the difficult position of needing to find him a new home—a home where he can continue to live a happy and fulfilling life. Vinnie is a dog full of life and love, but he's also one who thrives best with regular exercise, a peaceful living environment and an owner with experience with aggressive/reactive dogs. A little over a year ago, Vinnie faced a significant challenge. He was hit by a car, an incident that required surgery. Through resilience and an unwavering spirit, Vinnie has recovered fully, a testament to his strength and will to enjoy life. However, this experience has left him somewhat anxious, particularly around unfamiliar faces and fellow canines. Due to his anxiety, there is a risk that Vinnie might react defensively and potentially bite if he feels threatened or overwhelmed. It's crucial for his new family to approach his socialization with patience and understanding, ensuring he feels safe and supported as he adjusts to new people and surroundings. Vinnie has cohabitated harmoniously with children, kittens, cats, chicks, and rabbits. While he occasionally expresses his opinion with a bark or two towards the kittens, they respect each other's space and coexist peacefully. Vinnie naturally assumes the role of the pack leader, maintaining order with a gentle, authoritative bark, especially if the cats forget their manners and squabble.
