My Fiancé and I have made the difficult decision to find another loving family who can take our almost 5 month old Mini Australian Shepherd puppy. We originally got him from a Registered Breeder. Due to our work and school schedules, we feel it is best he goes with another loving family who can give him the attention he deserves.
Louie was purchased from a registered breeder and we would like to find a suitable loving forever family for him, which must also be approved by registered breeder.
Louie is a very smart boy and learns tricks quickly. He knows a variety of them already, including sit, stay, down, paw, heel. He is crate trained. He is up to date on all his vaccinations including rabies vaccination. He is microchipped.
Louie is a black tri mini Australian shepherd male (he will be approx. 40 pounds).
Louie will come with a leash, collar, some toys, dog feed and possibly his crate (might be an additional charge). He will also come with his vaccination records and his contract papers (which will again have to be signed by his new owners) from the registered breeder.
Louie is a wonderful dog who loves people and other dogs (hasn't been around children too much recently and around cats, but I am sure he will warm up quickly). He is a very brave boy who is curious and loves to please. He would make a great addition to an active house hold preferably with a backyard.)
Finding him a suitable, loving and caring home for him is our top priority. We will truly miss him.
Louie is part of a non-breeding contract, so he will need to be neutered anywhere from 6-8 months of age.
Any additional questions or if you would like to meet Louie, please contact me at (226) 338-9392.
Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet
While pet sellers can be reputable individuals or breeders who treat their animals well, the ease of selling pets over the Internet also makes it attractive to careless, irresponsible breeders and scammers. To protect yourself, you must be careful and believe only what you see and not what you are told. It is highly recommended to arrange for an inspection of the home where the pets are bred. This allows you to check that the mother and other animals are living in suitable conditions, being well cared for, and are in good health.
Remember that the Kijiji Pets section is NOT intended to facilitate uncontrolled breeding, irresponsible commercial pet trading, trade of dogs or any other animal for the purpose of fighting or stud services. Any ads that are suspected of promoting this kind of activity or reported to us will be removed. Users are responsible for adhering to the applicable conditions in relation to adopting, buying, selling or listing of an ad on Kijiji.
Kijiji encourages, where possible, the adoption of pets and encourages all pet owners to have their animals spayed or neutered as well as microchipped.
When looking for a pet, it is important to meet the breeder or seller and examine the pet before agreeing to anything. Since Kijiji is local to your community, this should be easy to arrange. Never adopt/buy a pet from someone who is unwilling to let you see how and where the animal is living!
