Terms of Employment:
• Permanent , Full-Time
Wages:
• Hourly: $ 25.38 per hour. Must meet Canadian and US hours of Service Regulations. 40 – 60 hours.
Wage components:
• 0.42 cents per mile base rate
• 0.02 cents extra per mile for US runs
• 0.02 cents extra per mile for BC runs
• $ 25.00 per collection
• $ 25.00 per delivery
• $ 100 layover after 24 hours

• Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills/ Job Duties:
• Operate and drive articulated trucks to transport goods and materials in a safe and efficient manner; Loading and unloading of goods; Plan travel schedules and routes; Receive and relay information to central dispatcher; Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment; Perform brake adjustments; Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness as required.

• Professionalism in customer service

Security and Safety
• Criminal record check; Driving record check (abstract); Medical exam; Drug test.
