Pinnacle Landscaping, Tree Care & Sod is looking for a competent Class 3 Truck Driver to transport and deliver goods (typically sod, top soil, gravel, trees & other landscaping materials) in a safe and timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations, and ensuring that deliveries are made efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 3 truck to transport sod and various landscape materials to designated locations
- Load and unload sod and various landscape materials using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols while driving and handling cargo.
- Communicate effectively with office staff, customers, and team members
- Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and regulations
- Additional work duties assisting on landscape jobs may be required in order to make this a full-time position.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
- Knowledge of local roads and highways
- Ability to operate various types of trucks and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading of cargo
