    Description

Selling my 2019 RadPowerBikes RadCity commuter bike. I am the only owner of this bike which has incredibly few KMs ridden on it - a hair over 300km.

It was never ridden in rain, never ridden in winter, stored inside our house at all times when not in use and the battery has probably only been charged a handful of times. The majority of the 300km was spent on asphalt or the Confed Trail.

    ---------- Bike Features:

    Frame- 19"

    Wheels - 26" w/ Kenda tires

Motor - 750W brushless direct drive hub motor; 40Nm of torque

    Battery - 48V, 14Ah, rated for 800 cycles.

Range - 60km on flat terrain (I've never gone that far in one ride, but I've never run it out during a ride either).

    Weight - 65lbs w/ battery

Pedal Assist - 5 level PA & continuous throttle.

Lights - built in front headlight (very bright) and rear braking light that can be switched between solid or blinking.

    Mirror - I added a rear-view mirror to the left handlebar. ---------

The 0-5 levels of pedal assist go from 0 (no assist) to 5, where you are just lightly peddling and the bike is using the most power for moving you forward. I like to pedal, so I usually rode at PA level 2 which allowed me to put some energy into it but have help on inclines or hills.

The bike also has a twist throttle like a motorbike and will go forward without you needing to pedal.

It has a built in back rack that can easily take any kind of pannier or you can purchase accessories from RadPowerBikes (a Vancouver company) to add a basket or straps.

The only thing to note - especially if you've never ridden an e-bike - is that this is a heavy bike, which is the main reason for my selling it.

We don't have a garage and I never felt safe leaving it in the shed, and so with having to carry it up and down our front steps and into our small front porch every time I just never got the use out of it that I had planned to and would rather purchase a smaller and lighter normal bicycle.

This bike would be fantastic for anybody making daily commutes from home to work and who wants to rely less on their car, or for anybody wanting to get out and bike but has trouble riding conventional bikes. It is a very comfortable bike to ride.

This is the larger of the frame sizes and I am about 6'2, but the seat and handlebars are very adjustable for people of various heights.

Not only is the range on the battery very good but on flat ground, high pedal assist, and some effort you can easily get the speed past 40km/h.

Obviously it would be best suited to someone with a garage to avoid lifting and carrying it.

I can provide videos of it working if you'd like.

Priced as it is because of the exceptional shape and low mileage - you're essentially buying a like-new bike.

I am open to hearing *reasonable* offers, but low-ballers will be ignored.

    No trades.
