1970 Corvette 454 Camaro 396 Chevelle 402 choke assy Ebay GM NOS

I am selling a brand new original GM NOS choke assembly for 1970 Chevrolet Big Block 396 , 402 and 454 engines with the Quadrajet 4 bbl carburetor.

This choke assembly is correct for 1970 Big Block Chevy Nova , Camaro , Chevelle , Monte Carlo , full size Chevrolet Impala , Caprice , Biscayne , Bel Air cars , Corvettes and light trucks equipped with the 4 bbl Quadrajet carburetor.

This is a complete assembly consisting of a NOS choke thermostat coil , coil cover , choke rod , choke rod clip and stainless steel mounting screw.

The parts are GM / Chevrolet : choke thermostat coil 3969825 , coil cover 3998944 , choke rod 3967472 , choke rod clip 3989067.

The choke rod is the correct and original 1970 OEM rod : part number 3967472 , with the correct bends and configuration for your 1970 big block motor.

This is a one year only useage rod - parts vendors supply "you can make it work" reproduction '73 -'74 rods for 1970 applications. The rod will come loose without the pack shown.

The choke cover is the correct early "smooth top" cover p/n 3998944 not the later service replacement cover p/n 14006795. This is the last assembly I have with the original OEM 1970 smooth top thermostat cover.

These parts are from a closed down Chevrolet parts department inventory.

Please note these are over 50 year old production line OEM parts and may have some age imperfections (oxidization or tarnish) - I will select the best parts from my inventory.

Depending on inventory the choke thermostats and covers may not be the parts shown in the photo - they may come in either GM boxes , bags or just with GM p/n labels but will be genuine GM parts. Make your Chevy restoration totally correct with all genuine GM parts
