-I have completed my studies at the Conservatory of Music in Gatineau in piano (Bachelor level) while taking singing classes with the vocal professor at the institution.
-I have had numerous master classes with renown pianist such as Michel Fournier and the head of the University of Texas Department of Music among others. Also, I have assisted many conferences and seminars dealing with topics of music history, music and education, stress control for musicians, and the effects of listening and playing classical music on the brain. I took classes in Music Education and am presently completing Music writing at the University of Montreal after which I will continue my education at the University of Ottawa, specialising in 20th Century Music Theory.
-I have been competing for years and have won several awards and scholarships for performance in both Romantic, Classical and Impressionist repertoire. I have also performed in choirs, vocal ensembles, and solo vocal concerts for several years.
-I have played solo at marriages, specific soirées (Children's Wish Foundation), embassies and venues in Switzerland and Italy as well as venues around the Outaouais region. I have also assisted in auditions, accompanied singers, violinists, clarinettists as well as other instrumentalists, and enjoyed performing in chamber groups.
-I have been teaching for a total of 8 years both in music schools and privately.
My students pass RCM examinations on a regular basis, learn the principles of piano accompaniment, participate in competitions, audition for major music institutions (piano and vocal), and some even became music teachers themselves.
-I adapt my teaching methods based on the students' needs and their level while instilling proper technique and an active awareness of injury prevention. I also encourage composition, theoretical debates, and guide my students through their musical learning experiences by constantly ensuring a good level of amusement and motivation.
