Julliette's Place Shelter - Our History
Opened in 1990, Homeward Family Shelter is a 35 bed emergency shelter for abused women and their children. Today the agency operates as Julliette’s Place in memory of ex-resident Juliet Reynolds, who was murdered by her estranged husband in 1996.
We provide counselling, information and referrals, therapeutic programming, housing and legal assistance, community outreach, and support services.
In celebration of International Women's Day Julliette's Place is hosting an online auction. The auction will take place from March 8, 2024 - March 22, 2024.
