This boom box works well, looks great, and sounds AMAZING! With a CD/LINE IN to hook up your phone, computer, laptop, CD, Bluetooth. Cables included. Detachable 2 way speakers for true stereo sound. . Cosmetically it's a 9 out of 10. Except for 1 tiny ding the unit is in near mint condition; no swirls, no scratches, no chips, no cracks, very clean. . No broken or missing pieces, all switches and moving parts work well, antenna is very good, battery compartment is clean and corrosion free. It is said that the cassette belts deteriorate over time and will eventually need replacing however on this unit they are working fine (see 1080p video). The heads/rollers have been cleaned. . Also, I did not check it on a phone (need headphone jack or Bluetooth receiver) or test it with batteries. You are very welcome to bring your own batteries/phone/laptop/CD etc. for testing. Also, if downloading the manual, this is the Panasonic RX-CW42, not the RX-CW42L. I believe the difference is in the radio bands; RX-CW42 is AM/FM and RX-CW42L is AM/FM, SW, ML, LW. I'm not sure if that is the only difference but I can't find the RX-CW42 manual online (not for free anyway) but there are plenty of RX-CW42L manuals and they look almost identical. . . ▶️ Connecting to your phone/computer/laptop/CD is easy. The simplest and cheapest way is with the brand new RCA adapter cable that comes with the boombox. . Bluetooth is also possible with a Bluetooth Receiver.
