I am not sure if this Vintage retro 1991 Casio LCD Colour Pocket Television #TV-470 with the original Black Protective case, works properly or not?
It powers on but I was unable to tune into any Air stations?
It does show some lines or "noise" on the screen when you play around but I am thinking it may not be working properly or at all. There is signs of life but thats it.
SOLD AS IS.... if you can fix it or have a guy that can great. Otherwise its just a cool prop or decor piece.
Also NOTE that Because in Canada they are Digital now and you will require a Digital to Analog Converter small box that connects to the antenna as as an adapter. This Will Work as people on Youtube have done this and made this TV work perfectly. Here is what one person wrote: You can continue to operate this Casio Pocket TV in 2019 with a digital to analog converter box and connect the antenna to the rf output on channel 3 or 4 on the box.
So whether you get a converter adapter and use it or simply buy it as a piece of Electronic Nostalgia its a pretty Cool Pocket TV.
Condition wise.....It's in great shape. No real issues. The antenna is intact and not bent or creased.
The rear stand is undamaged and present.
It does power up fine. But thats it!!
It has UHF and VHF station search and switch options.
There is a phone jack. Not sure how this intermingles?
- 480P resolution.
Pick up any day of the week in Waterloo days or evenings.
I can Easily and Quickly able to get this down to the Oakville, Burlington area just 4 short minutes off the
QEW and Bronte Road South exit. I can get this down there each week.
I do get to Walkerton now and then.
